The green and black team has taken what could be considered the greatest leap that currently exists between categories and now they have to arm themselves to be able to compete against authentic ocean liners, such as Deportivo de la Coruña.
Waiting for the calendar of this competition to be announced on Wednesday, which will kick off on the weekend of August 26 and 27, the club from the Left Bank began its preseason this Monday, which it will complete with a total of six friendlies against Basque teams. Unlike other years, this first day in Las Llanas under the command of Aitor Calle did not serve as a presentation of the squad, which still lacks many troops.
A total of 14 players from the first team and two players from the reserve team, such as Asier del Río -extreme- and Guillermo Díaz -midfielder- completed this first session, which will be joined by the reserve goalkeeper, Javi Moreno, this coming Wednesday. Regarding the aid desired by the City Council, he indicates that “the government team has not yet been formed, we are working on it, but there is a good predisposition and we believe that there will be no problem.”
