The Mexican Archery Federation Dissolved: World Archery Announces New Representation

The Mexican Archery Federation will be dissolved, with immediate effect, by order of the National Sports Commission (CONADE).

The World Archery published an announcement where it specifies this event and states that the national institution ceased to be the one that represents the country internationally, in this sport.

This action triggered the formation of a special group, made up of elements from CONADE and the Mexican Olympic Committee, and which will be used as a transition method for the creation of the new body in charge of green, white and red archery.

After the rupture, the body itself reported on the suspension of its work, as well as the resignation of all the members who work inside, since everything that was related to them will be without effect.

The statement was presented in the midst of the relevant participation of Mexican athletes in the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023. In the fair, the tricolor archers lead the medal table with six gold medals, two silver and two bronze, for a total of 10 medals.
