The LNP Announces Groups for the 2023 Super Cup

The LNP – National Basketball League today announced the groups for the next 2023 Super Cup.

The Trieste Basketball will face Group “E” together with Apu Old Wild West Udine e Practice Gesteco Cividale. First day on the calendar Saturday 9 September, but the first official red and white match will be held Tuesday 12 September al PalaGesteco of Cividale del Friuli.

The formula of the tournament provides 8 groups of 3 teams that they will play one way races within their group. The winners of each group qualify by playing the quarter-finals in a single match at the home of the 4 best winners paired with the other 4 winners with proximity criteria.

The 4 winners will play the FINAL FOUR site to be determined

The LNP – National Basketball League announced today the groupings for the upcoming Super cup 2023. Pallacanestro Trieste will be in Group “E” along with Apu Old Wild West Udine and Practice Gesteco Cividale.

The first games are set on the calendar for Saturday, September 9, but the first official red and white challenge will be held on Tuesday, September 12, at PalaGesteco in Cividale del Friuli.

The tournament formula includes 8 rounds of 3 teams that will play one-way matches within their group. The top teams in each group qualify by playing the quarterfinals in a one-way competition at the home of the 4 best firsts paired with the other 4 firsts using proximity criteria.

The 4 winners will play the FINAL FOUR at a location to be established
