Alex Martínez is a Spanish tennis player who is competing in the American university circuit representing the University of Oklahoma with very good results since they remain within the top 20 of the competition. Differences ITF and University Circuit

Arrival in the United States

Combining ITF and university circuit
«While there is no university competition you can freely compete on the ITF circuit. Therefore from June to December they do not put you any problem for it. Of course, it is difficult to play many tournaments when combining it with studies. Sometimes the teams pay you the expenses of being able to compete in those appointments and the coaches accompany you«.
Future postgraduate
«I have one year left on the university circuit and then my intention is to be able to find an American sponsor to help me cover the expenses of constantly playing ITF tournaments. Then we would see if I stay to live in the United States or if I combine it with a few months in Europe.«.
