The Italian Summer Championships are approaching for different specialties of the archery: a Castel di Sangro the Campagna championship will take place from 21 to 23 July, a Seravezza (August 24 – 27) target shooting.
Archery: field shooting championship
The women’s senior team of the Bosco delle Querce Archers as well as several archers affiliated to Brianza companies are engaged on both fronts to compete in events with the tricolor up for grabs.
For the Fitarco field shooting championship (Hunter & Field) the last valid race to score points and consequently admission to the national stage were the recent Carvico regional championships where it was overly relevant the haul of medals won by the Brianza archers both in the different categories and in the absolute ranking. In the Olympic Alessio Mangerini (Comp.Arcieri del Sole – Solaro) after the fourth place in the category he redeemed himself in fact in the race with the regional title up for grabs by winning the bronze. Two bronze medals were won by Louis Moreschi (Arc.del Sole) first in the bare bow division and then in the absolute classification; then by archers of the Burarco Vimercate: Marina Mostardini (senior) category gold and overall bronze, Maria Giuseppina Varisco (master) gold in the category and in the overall classification. In the long bow specialty, Marco Sironi (Compagnia d’Archi Meda) won the gold in the category and the bronze in the absolute. In the event organized by the Archers Company of the Bergamasca Orobici Island, in the Christian Pomarico compound (Cat.pupils) e Claudia Nardecchia (girls) both from Burarco Vimercate won the gold.

The Seveso team made up of Tanya Giada Giaccariwho was only able to participate as a bearer of the Bosco delle Querce, therefore from Chiara Pavone and Giorgia Rota, she managed to win the silver medal. Furthermore, both Giorgia and Chiara were classified, in order, fifth in the compound and bare archery. Now all the archers are waiting for the national rankings to compete in Castel di Sangro. To ease the tension, TanyaJaciari competed in Bollate where she obtained her 13th victory of the season and on the podium of the Olympic she was joined by Chiara Pavone and Giorgia Rota.
