The best thing I have are my fans: Shakira wins 8 statuettes at the Premios Juventud – El Sol de México

Shakira won eight statuettes at the Premios Juventud held in Puerto Rico, thus becoming the most awarded artist in this edition.

“It is true that as an artist I have had the immense luck of working with a great record label to which I am very grateful, of collaborating with incredible producers and artists, but my greatest luck is to have the fans that I have,” said the Colombian at the event.

In the same way, she expressed that her fans are a great inspiration for her, for which, she assured, she hopes to continue improving as a musician, artist and as a person.

“Every day you inspire me to improve myself and not give up. When I had doubts about myself, you made me believe in myself again. When I felt fragile, you filled me with strength. When I sat alone, you accompanied me, protected me, showed me your loyalty,” she added.

In total, the author of “Antología” received nine nominations, of which she won eight in the categories of Best Pop/Urban Song for her song “Shakira: BZRP Music Sessions #53”.

Some of the categories he won were thanks to the song he released in collaboration with Karol G, “TQG” as Artist Premios Juventud Femenina, Best Song for My Ex, Girl Power and Best Urban Track.

In the same way, it won the awards in the categories of Best Song, Best Urban Pop Collaboration, Tropical Mix and Social Dance Challenge.

The Premios Juventud also recognized Shakira as “Change Agent,” a designation given to her for her philanthropic work focused on children’s education and nutrition, the arts, and causes toward female empowerment.
