The Ash. A beautiful closing season judo gala. The Cendre judo club celebrated its sports season at the end of June at the Espace Verger du Caire, at Cendre.
It is with more than 60 judokas on the mat and 180 people present that the club paid tribute to the work of the judokas during this season.
The judo club is part of the activities of the Cendre leisure center. Judo fall exercises, technical demonstrations, throws, three different katas and jujitsu: the performance gave a nice spectrum of what judo is all about.
It was also an opportunity to reward the fighters of the four seasons tournament and give them a medal according to their score in the competition. The club continues to grow with more than 100 licensees, which is its historic maximum. Mathias, the club’s judo teacher, hopes to grow in the coming years to 150 members, the ideal size according to him, for a dynamic and family club.
In addition to the traditional four-season tournament with the clubs of Pont-du-Château and Vic-le-Comte, a self-contained minimal cadet tournament was organized where the participants were all referees, stewards and fighters.
The club also honored its black belts, Philippe Coudon and Marion Dumartin who had her first dan in March.
