Successful I National Stage of Judo Held in Tomeloso

tomeloso has hosted on July 15 and 16 the I National Stage of Judo which, organized by the local Judo club, with the collaboration of the City Council, has been held in the Ciudad Deportiva. An event of an educational nature and with top-level speakers in all areas of this sport, both at a technical and educational level.

In this I Stage, which has been a complete success, high-level technical training has been combined with high-performance coaches and training, aimed at updating and recycling teachers, giving them the opportunity to learn new methodologies and resources for their programming.

On Saturday and in the morning there was a technical and tactical standing judo training, directed by Alfonso de Diego and, in the afternoon, another floor judo, with Pedro Jose Moreno. Besides, Adrian Caballero he worked an hour of physical preparation on Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.

In the case of teachers, on Saturday morning the physiotherapist Jose Maria Bello gave two presentations, one on “The importance of rest” and another about “Effective own work and flexibility, aimed at judo. On Saturday afternoon, Jose Miguel Urrea spoke of neuro education applied to the tatami and, on Sunday morning, Mairena Sánchez did it about “Motor skills”.

Adrian Caballero, He is from Tomelloso, where he started playing handball from a very young age and it was from there that his passion for the sport arose. He completed a sports instructor course in high school and studied the Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences in Toledo in 2009 and from there he trained in personal training and sports performance until he opened Vlab, a company dedicated to to improve the health of people with training and also to recover from injuries.

Undoubtedly, this I Stage of Judo has served to spend a weekend enjoying this sport and working on physical aspects combined with theoretical knowledge taught by great masters who are experts in the field.
