Sport Kids: A Variety of Sports Activities for Children During San Fermin

The hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The activities are free and do not require prior registration. In this new edition of Sport Kids, the Navarrese federations of chess, athletics, basketball, handball, baseball and softball, adapted sports, fencing, soccer, gymnastics, golf, herri kirolak, horse riding, paddle tennis, Basque pelota, canoeing, rugby, taekwondo collaborate , archery and volleyball. Every day several of the federations schedule very practical learning activities for each of the disciplines. A “water tavern” will also be installed in the Sport Kids space, in collaboration with the Commonwealth of the Pamplona Region so that all the people who come to the Media Luna pits can hydrate themselves to practice sports each day. In addition, thanks to Lacturale and Florette, there will be a “third period”, in which you can taste milk and refrigerated fruit for free as a snack. The speaker of Club Atlético Osasuna and the Navarra Circuit, Eduardo Diaz Lasa, will act as animator of the event. The area will have a DYA and Red Cross service post.

Chess activities will be taught in the Media Luna pits, in the area closest to the access from Calle Arrieta. In the rear area of ​​the Fortifications Interpretation Center Every day there will be four sports proposals from disciplines such as baseball, fencing, golf, handball, adapted sports, athletics, herri kirolak, volleyball or gymnastics. Another of the pits will host football the first four days and basketball the last four.

Archery and paddle tennis will take place inside the Fortifications Interpretation Center. Taekwondo and rugby are scheduled on a nearby grassy area.

In addition to the usual location of the Media Luna pits, this year they also join the Molino de Caparroso for canoeing activities and Jito Alai pediment for the pelotazales modalities (only in the mornings).
