The Timberwolves close the Western series at 4-0 against the Phoenix Suns NEW YORK (UNITED STATES) (ITALPRESS) – The Minnesota Timberwolves fly to the second round of the Western Conference play-offs. The Minneapolis-based franchise ends the series with a ‘coat’ with the Phoenix Suns, who also surrender in game 4 by 122-116 despite the 49 points scored by Booker, top scorer of the match (40 by Edwards for the Timberwolves).
Still in the West, the Los Angeles Clipper tied the series at 2-2 with the Dallas Mavericks by winning game 4 116-111 although among the Texans Irving ended up on the scoresheet with 40 points against George’s 33. In the East, Indiana Pacers earn the match-ball against the Milwaukee Bucks: 126-113 in game 4 (29 points from Turner) and 3-1 in the series.
