Singer-songwriter Beni Hafner (Oimara) in the SZ formality – sport

SZ: Sport is…?

Beni Hafner: …exactly what unfortunately often keeps me from doing sports.

Your current fitness level?

There is light patina, but the engine is grooved.

Rim upswing or stopover?

Definitely a retreat.

Physical education class was for you?

100 times better than math and latin.

Your personal record?

Withstand five minutes in the shock freezer during my cooking apprenticeship at minus 40 degrees.

Stadium visitors or TV athletes?

TV athlete, but would rather be in the stadium more often.

Bavaria or sixty?

Not blue. Apparently it’s in the genome.

Your eternal sports idol?

Phew… that has changed many times… formerly Mehmet Scholl and Oli Kahn… currently Federer… sometimes Sebastian Vettel – but Jimi Hendrix comes first.

A formative experience?

To have sung a song for Lothar Matthäus. A song about him and his English.

In which discipline would you be an Olympic champion?

Im-looking-for-something-in-my-pocket. In short, in “sneezing”.

Which athlete would you like to swap jerseys with?

If I had to swap, maybe with Manuel Neuer. He also lives on Tegernsee, and not much would change.

Under the heading “Formality” the SZ asks people about their affinity for sport every week. Artists, politicians, captains of industry – just no athletes. It would be boring.
