Patrik Slaměna, who is a regular Sigma player, but has permission to train with Eskáček, also played in Prostějov’s jersey. It was he who threatened first, but Trefil eliminated his attempt.

Olomouc had a great chance in the 23rd minute. After a foul by the goalkeeper, Galus kicked a penalty, but he did not beat Lasák.

And that’s how the home team went into the lead when Tomáš Malec came through. But Sigma was able to react before the break and twice. In the 29th minute, Filip Urič equalized and two minutes later Fiala turned the score around.

“We had a missed penalty there and a huge scoring opportunity. Instead of taking the lead, we ended up with a one-goal deficit. This was followed by a great reaction from the team, who managed to not only equalize but also turn the score around within three minutes. I think it set the tone for the game. It boosted the boys’ self-confidence even more and we finished the match brilliantly,” said Sigma B’s coach Tomáš Janotka.

Sigma also won the second preparation. Banské Bystrica placed four

“We have the ball at our feet, but we don’t tighten up and we are punished for it. We have to be more resistant and stubborn so that we don’t get a goal,” Prostějov coach Michal Šmarda shook his head.

Fiala added his second goal in the second half and Jiří Spáčil scored the last goal of the match.

“There is certainly great satisfaction with the match and the result. I liked how, after a difficult week, the boys managed to work well in the game, both defensively and offensively. The reward was four beautiful scored goals and a good result,” assessed Tomáš Janotka.

“The opponent deservedly won, he was able to punish our mistakes. Before the game, we thought we had to work on our defense, but we conceded four goals at home. We didn’t carry it into the match. We had a problem with that last season as well. There is dissatisfaction, I lacked quality on the ball and synergy. The opponent was better in terms of movement and ferocity. I hope that the match gave us something in terms of fitness,” concluded Šmarda.

Coach Tomáš Janotka thus celebrated the first win on the Olomouc B team bench. He can add another as early as Wednesday, when he will face F:NL newcomer Kroměříž in Slatinice. Prostějov plays Zlín in Vršava on Saturday.
