Rugby World Cup 2023: 100,000 tickets put back on sale

Less than two months before the start of the 2023 Rugby World Cup, 100,000 tickets will be put back on sale by the organization. Made available by the partners of the Mondial, these tickets will be offered exclusively to members of the 2023 Family. in particular the possibility of affording these tickets.

The 48 matches of the competition are concerned. Tickets will be available Wednesday July 19, 6 p.m., individually, from 10 euros for group matches and 40 euros for the final stages. However, it will not be possible to buy more than six precious sesame per person.

It is also possible to purchase tickets via the resale site. Tickets can be redeemed up to 24 hours before each match kicks off.

This Wednesday, the Viagogo companies had been condemned for having sold tickets on their site, which then constituted an attack on the monopoly of France 2023. The Judicial Court of Paris condemned them to pay nearly 400,000 euros to the organizer of this World Cup.

This was not the first controversy regarding tickets for this event. Last January, we announced that searches carried out at the headquarters of the Rugby World Cup organizing committee had revealed that hundreds of tickets had been sold despite the rules and for the benefit of two ex-rugby players, including Sébastien Chabal, former player of the XV of France.

The 2023 Rugby World Cup in France begins on September 8 with the opening match between France and New Zealand. The final is scheduled for October 28 at the Stade de France. Nine cities will host meetings: Paris, Lille, Nantes, Lyon, Saint-Étienne, Bordeaux, Nice, Marseille and Toulouse.
