The first news for the gameplay and additional features of EA Sports FC 24 were finally revealed this Thursday afternoon (13). At a live event that took place in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, the publisher showed the first details of what the game will look like from now on.
Just with the content shown today, it is possible to have an idea of how the company has been working to implement some changes, mainly in Ultimate Team, the mode most played by the community according to CEO Andrew Wilson. Of course, Pro Clubs — now just Clubs — and Career Mode weren’t left out.
First news of EA Sports FC 24
HyperMotion V
In FIFA 23, we were in Hypermotion 2, already in EA Sports FC 24, the tool evolved to HyperMotion V. This function is exclusive to current generation consoles and PC, that is, do not expect major changes in PS4, Xbon One and Switch .

Frostbite
The engine responsible for delivering the game’s graphics remains Frostbite.
From the more realistic SAPIEN player models to uniform fluttering when passing through the halfback during a close match, and with a top-notch matchday experience, the enhanced Frostbite Engine brings rich detail to make every EA Sports FC moment 24 look more like real football.
Ultimate Team
In EA Sports FC 24, two big changes promise to make Ultimate Team’s gameplay much more interesting: the evolution of cards and the addition of women’s football. The publisher described both functions briefly on the official website:
Evolutions: Develop your own club legends and improve athletes with the new Ultimate Team Evolutions. Complete objectives to improve individual skills, PlayStyles, overall grades, and even change Player Item appearance; Women’s Football: Ultimate Team will unite the two halves of the Everybody’s Game, putting men and women to play side by side on the field, unlocking a new universe of possibilities to create your dream team;
Career mode
As with Ultimate Team, two major additions will come to Career Mode. When adventuring as a player, in addition to access to PlayStyles, an agent will take care of your off-field life. As a manager, the game will give you more control over tactics and coaching assistants will help you extract the best performance from the team.
Clubs and VOLTA
Finally, crossplay will be released for the Pro Clubs community, which is now just Clubs, and VOLTA FOOTBALL. Apparently, news awaits fans in the league system. Check out the description posted on the official website:

EA Sports FC 24 leagues and licenses
As previously announced, EA has promised to reserve the old licenses for this new era of virtual football. On the official website, it confirms that there will be more than 30 leagues, 19,000 athletes, 700 teams and more than 100 licensed stadiums within the game.
The big news was the addition of new women’s championships. La Liga and the Bundesliga will be the next women’s European leagues that will have full authenticity on virtual pitches.
