CASTELLAMONTE – The last game of the Serie C baseball championship was played on Sunday 30 July for the Redclays of Castellamonte. The recovery of Intergirone was held on the Vercelli field which saw the red-violet team face the Brothers.
The boys, trained by the manager Hernandez Martinez Gerardo and by the coaches Vicari Patrizio and Besso Vittorio, prevailed after 9 innings for 16 to 13. It was a crackling and fun game. Good job by the starting pitcher Alessandro Pilotto, relief Nicholas Gaido and closer Lorenzo Boccuzzi. There have been many valid jokes by Canavese players.
This result allowed the Redclay boys to close the championship with an excellent third place in Group B. In September there will be the Piedmont Cup reserved for youth and Under 23 teams (basically the youngsters from Serie C).
