The Latvian Olympic Committee (LOK) will receive an invitation to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games today.
The invitation to the LOK will be delivered at 12 at the office of the organization “Rimi” in the office building of the Olympic Center, Grostonas Street 6B.
LOK President Jānis Buks will take part in the official reception of the invitation, but after the opening of the invitation, a press briefing will be held in which Buks and LOK Secretary General Kārlis Lejnieks will take part.
The IOC has not yet made a final decision on the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes in the Paris Olympic Games, but invitations were not sent to the two aggressor countries.
The Paris Olympic Games will be held from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
