Chances are that Justin Bijlow will leave Feyenoord. Manchester United seems to be a very serious option for the goalkeeper. If Bijlow leaves, the team from Rotterdam will have to attract a new first goalkeeper. Football zone lists eight possible successors, including Sparta keeper Nick Olij.
“Partly thanks to the many good performances by Nick Olij, Sparta Rotterdam achieved a good sixth place in the Eredivisie last season,” writes Football zone. “The special advance of the Spartans was only stopped in the final of the Play-offs for European football, when FC Twente turned out to be just too strong. Olij has a transfer value of three million euros on Transfermarkt and does not normally have to cost Feyenoord much. “
Football zone also mentions FC Twente goalkeeper Lars Unnerstall as a possible successor to Bijlow: “Unnerstall will soon be celebrating his 33rd birthday and has therefore gained the necessary experience. The 1.98 meter tall German, like Olij, had a more than excellent season in the Eredivisie, which he graced with no fewer than eighteen clean sheets. No other goalkeeper at the highest level in the Netherlands can provide those figures.”
“Unnerstall failed to secure a permanent place at PSV for a longer period of time and is therefore looking for revenge in the autumn of his career,” said Voetbalzone, which also includes Andries Noppert, Sebastiano Desplanches, Maduka Okoye, Carlos Acevedo, Bart Verbruggen and Timon Wellenreuther as possible successors to Bijlow.
