BarcelonaThe Catalan telephone company Parlem Telecom is the new telecommunications provider for Football Club Barcelona. As ARA has been able to learn, the company has won the competition after prevailing over Telefónica’s offer, which until now provided this same service. Although the amount of the deal has not been detailed, it involves servicing up to 775 mobile lines. The Catalan company will also have to provide voice and data telephony services to the club, in addition to providing the corporate mobile communications service to Barça and associated entities. Thus, the company will cover all the needs of the Barcelona club in terms of telecommunications.
With this move, Parlem Telecom wants to continue strengthening its association with the Catalan sports fabric. The Catalan company is currently a technological partner and sponsor of Girona FC. In Girona, it is also a sponsor of the Uni Girona basketball team. In addition, the company has the we of the OK Lliga skate hockey league and is the main sponsor of Club Patí Calafell.
