Focus on the French

In 2023, the French team is a mix of experience and youth with the arrival of a promising new generation. Before the Paris stage of the World Cup, the Blues will go from July 31 to August 6 to the World Championships in Berlin (Germany), a major event of the season. In recurve, the men’s trio has been significantly overhauled this season. Jean-Charles Valladont is now associated with a younger generation with Nicolas Bernardi and Baptiste Adis.

A team under construction united towards the same objective, the Paris Olympics in 2024. On an individual level, the Blues have a card to play. Jean-Charles Valladont proved it this season with a silver medal at the first round of the World Cup in Antalya (TUR). Baptiste Addis and Nicolas Bernardi are looking for a first significant result at world level.

Among the women, it’s a very close-knit team with Lisa Barbelin, Audrey Adiceom and Caroline Lopez. Three young women who evolve together on a daily basis at Insep and in their Riom club. A confident team that recently won the silver medal at the European Games in Poland. The final selection for the Paris World Cup will be known after the world championships.
