It would be only too understandable if Novak Djokovic’s anger and disappointment over the lost final in Wimbledon hadn’t quite subsided. After all, “Nole” had been unbeaten on Church Road in London since 2013, could have matched Roger Federer’s record of eight triumphs with the lawn major and even won his 24th Grand Slam.
Instead, 20-year-old Carlos Alcaraz had the better end for himself. Malicious gossips tell of the fact that the Serb was out of breath in the deciding set, and that the youthful freshness of his opponent was noticeable and visible. In any case, a defeat like this will certainly give a champion like Djokovic some questions along the way, the answers to which might sometimes not be nice either.
Shore leave with son and puppy
In such a situation, what would be better than planning a holiday, relaxing and letting God be a good man. And the “Djoker” is currently doing just that. With his yacht Tara, which is presumably named after his daughter, the ex-world number one was first spotted in Montenegro and now in front of Copacabana Beach in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
It would be interesting to see what a holiday from the great master looks like. Is there perhaps a small after-work beer every now and then or does the southern Slav stay true to his diet plan even during the relaxation phase? In any case, there was also shore leave with son Stefan and the family’s four-legged friend.
