NBA – Even if it means separating from their two wingers, the leaders of the Nets do not wish to sell them off.
Involved in the transfer rumors surrounding Damian Lillard, Brooklyn could take advantage of this potential deal to several teams to separate from Dorian Finney-Smith and or Royce O’Neale
. In other words, two precious wingers, aged 30 and landed less than a year ago in the New York franchise. Both are sure to attract some outside leaders with their defensive qualities, and they can be interesting to complete a trade.
Nevertheless, Hoopshype reports that Nets do not intend to let go of their two players so easily in a “dry” exchange because, to obtain them, it will be necessary to propose two first draft rounds for Dorian Finney-Smith and a first draft round for Royce O’Neale. Proof that they will only sell if a good enough offer comes their way.
Last season, Dorian Finney-Smith averaged 8.3 points and 4.8 rebounds in Dallas and then Brooklyn. His contract runs, at a minimum, until the summer of 2025. As for Royce O’Neale, he averaged 8.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists with the Nets in 2022/23. He arrives at the end of his contract next summer.
