RIETI – After having established the dates and the formula for the championship, the National Basketball League formalises and also announces the details of the Serie A2 Lnp Super Cup. The competition that will award the first trophy of the season will all take place in September, just before the start of the regular season. Real Sebastiani Rieti will have an all-Lazio qualifying group with Luiss Roma and Latina.
The formula
The twenty-four teams in the Serie A2 championship are divided into 8 groups of three. The winner of the triangular group (one-way matches, therefore two for each team) will be qualified for the quarter-finals, which will be played in a single match on the field of the best first classified. The winning teams of the quarter-finals qualify for the Final Four which will be as usual in a single venue (yet to be determined).
The date
Qualifying round: Saturday 9, Tuesday 12, Friday 15 September.
Quarter Finals: Tuesday 19 September
Final Four: Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 September
