Muhammad Iqbal Gwijangge, Star of U-16 National Team, Called Up for U-17 World Cup Selection

tvOnenews.com – Captain of the U-16 national team in the 2022 AFF U-16 Cup era, Muhammad Iqbal Gwijangge received a call-up for the U-17 national team in the U-17 World Cup selection.

Iqbal is not a new name for the coach of the U-17 national team, Bima Sakti. Both of them even won the 2022 AFF U-16 Cup where Iqbal was lined up to be the best player at that time.

But who would have thought that the player who was born in Sumedang, August 28, 2006, is the adopted son of the former chairman of PSSI, Iwan Bule.

Iwan Bule’s decision cannot be separated from Iqbal’s appearance last year with the national team. Feeling of the same family because they are both from West Java, Iwan Bule also feels responsible for Iqbal’s future.

“I will be friends until he graduates and gets a job,” said Iwan.

Now Iqbal joins the Barito Putera junior team. Iqbal’s move to Barito Putera was inseparable from his slick appearance with Garuda Muda.
