Marchand and the French relay fail at the foot of the podium in the 4×100 m medley

Léon Marchand, Maxime Grousset, Yohann Ndoye Brouard and Hadrien Salvan finished 4th in the 4x100m medley relay on Sunday at the Worlds in Fukuoka (Japan).

The French men’s relay, made up of Léon Marchand, Maxime Grousset, Yohann Ndoye Brouard and Hadrien Salvan, failed at the foot of the podium on Sunday in the 4x100m medley relay at the Worlds in Fukuoka (Japan).

The American swimmers were crowned champions, ahead of China and Australia in Fukuoka (Japan). Ryan Murphy, Nic Fink, Dare Rose and Jack Alexy won in 3 min 27 sec and 20/100th, just under two seconds ahead of the Chinese in silver (3 min 29) and Australia ( 3 min 29 sec 62).

This gold medal in the relay adds to the American record of a 6th title, Ryan Murphy having notably won gold in the 100m backstroke.
