The large Plus belle la vie family lost one of its members last May. Michel Cordes, who was present in the France 3 series from its beginnings and almost until the end, was indeed found lifeless at home. The actor, who played Roland Marci and who was 77 years old, would have committed suicide by firearm according to the first elements of the investigation.
Contacted at the time by Le Parisien, the neighbors of Michel Cordes explained that they had almost never seen actors from Plus belle la vie in their street. “We expected to see some from time to time, but in the end no,” they said. This has prompted some people to wonder if the late actor had not cut ties with his comrades or if the latter had not completely abandoned him.
In the last issue of Gala, Laëtitia Milot lifted the veil on the real relations between Michel Cordes and the other actors of PBLV. “He was my wedding witness. We saw each other a lot. Other PBLV actors also saw him, he was not abandoned as some may have said,” she assured.

Very close to the one who played his boss in the Mistral bar, Laëtitia Milot paid tribute to him on Instagram by posting a photo showing the first name “Michel” surrounded by many adjectives evoking qualities such as kind, creative and benevolent. “When you are happy, look deep inside you. You will see that only what brings you pain, also brings you joy. When you are sad, look again in your heart that you cry what made you happy. Khalil Gibran,” she also wrote.
If certain former heroes of Plus belle la vie were able to resume their role for the grand finale of the series broadcast last November on France 3, Laëtitia Milot, she was not recalled by the production. A situation that she regrets and which should continue despite the announced return of the series on TF1. “I already wanted to come back and the production didn’t want to. Their position will remain the same. I don’t blame them, but I made enough foot calls”, she lamented in Gala .
