Köster fifth in comeback – Sport

The five-time world champion Philip Köster has returned after an almost six-week injury break at the windsurfing world cup in his adopted home of Gran Canaria with a fifth place. The 29-year-old had to pause because of a broken foot. “I think after my injury I was at 80 percent,” said Köster: “That’s why I’m going into the next World Cup with a very good feeling.” In the women’s race, Lina Erpenstein from Kiel came in third. Gran Canaria was the fourth stop on the eight-stop Wave Tour, with the next competition taking place in Peru from August 26th to September 3rd.
