Kitesurfer Valentin Bontus improved to seventh place overall in the Olympic test regatta in Marseille and can therefore aim to take part in the Medal Race. On Wednesday, Bontus finished seventh and fourth in the new Olympic class.
In difficult conditions, the 49ers Benjamin Bildstein/David Hussl, who also worked their way up to seventh place in the interim ranking with three results in the top eight, were also convincing.
