Judith Wyder et Elhousine Elazzaoui dominent la Dolomyths run

The Swiss Judith Wyder and the Moroccan Elhousine Elazzaoui won on the vertiginous trails of the Dolomyths run (22 km, 1,750 m of elevation gain) on Saturday in Canazei (Italy), third event of the Golden trail world series.

Wyder (35), vice-world trail running champion in June in Innsbruck (Austria), ran in 2 hours 24 min 24 to beat the American Sophia Laukli (2h26:54), winner of the Mont-Blanc marathon end of June, and the Mexican Karina Carsolio (2h28:47).

Elazzaoui (31 years old, 2h04:39), beat the Swiss Roberto Delorenzi (2h05:33) and the French Frédéric Tranchand (2h05:39).

The Golden Trail World Series is one of the benchmark trail circuits bringing together some of the world’s elite runners in six races in a “short” format (between 21 and 42 km) and with a significant drop before a final in Italy in October.

The next event on the circuit is the famous Sierre-Zinal race on August 12 in Switzerland, where the superstar of the trail, the Spaniard Kilian Jornet will line up.
