Juan Fernando Quintero, who left Junior in Barranquilla a few weeks ago and has dreamed of reaching various leagues in the world, including the Arab, is in Medellín and this Thursday he launched Rúnico, his new business.
Quinterito entered the celebrity restaurant scene, with its own place in Medellín. Rúnico is the new business of the 10 that played in Independiente Medellín and River Plate, among other clubs, and who these days is dedicated to entrepreneurship and gastronomy.
At the press conference at the launch of his restaurant, Juan Fernando was excited and committed to moving forward with his business and for this reason, he confessed, that he will be dedicated to gastronomy for a while.
“Very happy to fulfill this dream, not only for me but for my partners and my co-workers who we hope will transcend in Medellín,” said the player.
“I feel very happy to be undertaking in the business world, satisfied with showing this place, in which we have worked for many months. I feel good creating employment and I consider that soccer is a vehicle to transcend in other aspects”, commented the man from Antioquia.
When asked about his future, Juan Fernando joked and said that “from today I am going to play in Rúnico, in this vacation time and with the football tour, one analyzes many things, and I have put all my effort into this project and I want to enjoy Runic, for now.”
Quinterito, who joined Junior last January, played six games for the BetPlay League and scored one goal, for a total of 540 minutes played with the Tiburón team.
Quintero, who is already 30 years old, was not with Colombia in the friendly matches in June, due to the fact that he had been recovering from an injury.
