A trio of rackets from Nuevo León, made up of two Olympians in the badminton discipline, seized the regional title in the Central American Games San Salvador 2023.

Haramara Gaitn, an Olympian in Tokyo 2020; Ramn Garrido, Youth Olympian in Nanjing 2014 and the young Armando Gaitn, multi-medalist of the Conade Nationals, they hung themselves the golden medal for Mexico in the modality of Mixed Teams.
