FSTSE achieves a 7.7% increase in base salary for 600,000 workers – El Sol de México

The Central FTSE, in negotiations with the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, obtained an increase of 7.7 percent weighted in base salary and the sum of economic benefits for more than 600 thousand workers in the State Service. The increase and payment will be retroactive to January 1, 2023.

The deal includes additional perceptions such as end-of-year economic stimuli that include food vouchers and bonuses, reported the president of the CEN of the Federation of State Service Workers Unions, Joel Ayala Almeida.

This entire package is part of the salary adjustment that will benefit the workers of the Operative Branch, that is, Administrative and General Services. This seeks to support workers with fewer perceptions with a higher percentage.

Joel Ayala Almeida reported that as a fundamental part of the salary increase, training for workers will continue, they will be supported with two thousand 100 pesos per month in this area.

It detailed that the monthly benefits will be delivered monthly for the following amounts:

Multiple Social Welfare: 915 pesos Transportation Aid: 1,400 pesos

Regarding the concept of End of Year Economic Stimulus, the increase will be announced next November.

“Soon we will report on the salary increase obtained in the negotiation with the federal government regarding the Medical, Paramedical and Related Groups Branch,” he emphasized.

“They are the result of the relationship of formal and respectful understanding in the workplace, within the framework of the policy process, between the federal government and the Central FSTSE”, emphasized the president of the CEN of the FSTSE.

“That is why we will continue the dialogue, the concertation and the agreements for the benefit of the workers at the State Service. This employment relationship is fundamentally based on the permanence of employment.

“Labor stability is enforced at all times, in accordance with the Law, with comprehensive social security and the rights of workers are guaranteed as well as full respect for union autonomy,” said the national leader of the FSTSE.

Ayala Almeida also commented that they recognize and value these advances, in accordance with the national project of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador “which means supporting the demands demanded by the workers through their democratically elected union representatives.”
