The Major League Baseball (MLB) Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York dressed up this Sunday afternoon to host the induction of Fred McGriff and Scott Rolen, who were officially immortalized.

The ceremony featured video tributes for both, which were starred by some of their former teammates such as Marquis Grissom for McGriff and Albert Pujols for Rolen.

In addition, Commissioner Rob Manfred unveiled the plaques, reading aloud the text of each one, and gave the exalted the traditional rings that were previously given away at a dinner after the ceremony.

“What a trip, what a dream,” McGriff said during his speech, being the first of the two to accept baseball’s highest individual honor.

“It’s intimidating,” Rolen said. “It’s very intimidating to be in a room with these guys, their wives and their families. They are the legends of the game… There is not going to be a quick change here where I am going to feel like I belong.”
