Actually, ex-BVB professional Patrick Owomoyela (43) should have gotten involved in the legends game between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund on Sunday – the new edition of the 2013 Champions League final (2:1). He is also in Munich, but unfortunately only as a spectator.

The sad reason: he broke his right collarbone while mountain biking in the mountains last Monday, is in pain and has his arm in a sling.
Owomoyela even had to be rescued by helicopter and flown to the clinic where he underwent surgery on Tuesday.

The crazy thing about it: “Rasta-Owo” recorded his crash tour, including the fall and transport, with a camera and shared the film on his Instagram channel and TikTok.
Owomoyela wrote: “If you think you know the route in your sleep ???????? ♂️ Then heli flight, single room with a view and breakfast in bed ???????? … does anyone have any series recommendations? I have a little time now????”
His almost 77,000 followers on Instagram felt very sorry for the former international, who also played for Werder Bremen and Arminia Bielefeld in the Bundesliga. Many wished him a speedy recovery.
Owomoyela played for Borussia Dortmund from 2008 to 2013 and was twice German champion with BVB.
