(ANSA) – ROME, 03 JUL – “I have never seen a city more in love with football than Naples: people love and respect me, and for me there is no better place to stay”. Victor Osimhen swears loyalty to his shirt and to ‘his’ city, after the scudetto he just won. “I won a very important Scudetto in Naples, and I play in a club where every little effort you make is appreciated: for this reason, after the Scudetto I want to win the Champions League and other trophies,” said the centre-forward in an interview with a website Nigerian, soccernet.ng, during his vacation at home.
“The Neapolitans – added Osimhen – show love to all their players. And wherever I go, I am respected. The children adore me, many people admire me, they idolize me by wearing the replica of my mask. This is the sign of what I mean to them. I’m happy with my choice, and for me there’s no better place to stay” (ANSA).
