(ANSA) – CAGLIARI, JULY 07 – The millenary culture of Sardinia in the new Cagliari home shirt. The tunic, in keeping with the rossoblù tradition, is quarter-length with reversed back and sleeves, enriched by the stylized design on the front: a concentric pattern directly inspired by the Mother Goddess of Turriga, a cruciform statuette dating back to the 4th millennium BC, considered one of the most representative effigies depicting the feminine sacredness of the whole Mediterranean, now exhibited in the archaeological museum of Cagliari.
The collar is polo-style and on the back it features the writing “Casteddu” in a new version created by EYE Sport, used throughout the official Cagliari merchandising for the 2023/24 season. On the front of the shirt, the club crest and the Eye Sport logo are made with lowered silicone to favor the elasticity of the garment, the adherence of the application to the fabric and the lightness of the garment.
The shirt is paired with blue shorts with a red side finish that also continues in the blue socks. The yarn is made up of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, both from recycled and eco-sustainable raw materials.
Also this year the shirts were packaged using eco-sustainable and plastic-free packaging. (HANDLE).
