Feyenoord has an eye on Sydney van Hooijdonk. The son of former Feyenoorder Pierre van Hooijdonk can succeed the possibly departing Danilo in Rotterdam.

That writes 1908.nl. “The name of Van Hooijdonk is currently the most discussed name in the Maasgebouw to accommodate a possible departure of Danilo”, it is indicated. The Brazilian striker may face a transition to the Scottish Rangers.

Feyenoord would not yet have sought official rapprochement with Bologna, Van Hooijdonk’s Italian club. The people of Rotterdam seem to be doing this in the short term. The 23-year-old Van Hooijdonk is still with Bologna until mid-2025, but may leave the Italian team.

Bologna reportedly hopes for an amount of about eight million euros for the services of the striker, who was rented out to SC Heerenveen last season. There he scored nineteen goals in 39 games.
