FC Groningen will play the second practice match of the preparation on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. VV Onstwedder Boys is the opponent at Sportpark de Boskamp in Onstwedde. Tickets can be bought on Saturday at various places in and around Onstwedde and are available at the sports park one and a half hours before the start of the match.
VV Onstwedder Boys celebrates its 60th anniversary in October and is organizing the practice match against FC Groningen in honor of this beautiful anniversary. The local pride from Onstwedde promoted to the third division a few weeks ago by beating neighbor SJS in a direct football fight after extra time.
For FC Groningen, which is training for exactly one week on Saturday for the new 2023/2024 season, it is the second exhibition game in the region. Last Wednesday, the renewed selection led by head coach Dick Lukkien played the first exhibition game against VV Annen. That match was won 2-0 under the watchful eye of 2,500 supporters by goals from Daleho Irandust and the new striker Kevin van Veen.
Tickets are available at the entrance and Sportpark de Boskamp opens its doors at 1.30 pm – an hour and a half before the first whistle. Tickets cost €10 each, children aged 5 to 12 pay €5.
