FC Bayern Expects Up to €150 Million from Player Sales This Summer

While the focus at FC Bayern is on the targeted newcomers, the club also expects considerable income from sales. Up to 150 million euros could still be collected this summer.

New arrivals are usually much more exciting than departures. Especially at Bayern, it is not surprising that the focus is more on Min-jae Kim’s upcoming commitment and Harry Kane’s courtship.

And yet the player sales that are either being considered or at least conceivable are still important for the German record champions. This becomes particularly clear when you look at the numbers that those responsible imagine as the respective transfer fees for the sales candidates. It should be up to 150 million euros.

So hat Sky reported on the respective sums that the Munich team had in mind distributed among the seven players.

Three of the players are settled in the single-digit million range. While for bench warmers Bona Sarr still about one to three million euros should be brought in, it goes with Alexander Nuebel one five to eight and at Yann Sommer one eight to ten million euros. FCB is no longer planning with Sarr and Nübel anyway. In the case of Sommer, the farewell is due to the comeback of Manuel Neuer.

Also with Marcel Sabitzer is no longer planned. While his loan spell at Manchester United was successful, a season-ending injury dampened interest in a permanent deal. Regardless of the other person at the negotiating table, the Bavarians will 15 million euros demand as a fee for the Austrian.

Just a little more, like 20 million euroswould you like to go with me? Sadio Mane achieve. The points of view are clear: the people of Munich would like to give him up and end the misunderstanding. Mané actually intended to present himself improved in his second season in the Bundesliga. But recently, a change has also become more and more important for him. However, concrete talks are still a long way off.

With these five players, a sum of up to 56 million euros should at best be achieved.

Benjamin Pavard and Ryan Gravenberch should bring in the remaining approximately 90 million euros. Pavard is automatically and compulsorily a candidate for sale due to the lack of a contract extension. Currently, however, there is no prospect of a concretely interested club.

Gravenberch should actually be held – actually. The Dutchman was dissatisfied with his playing times. With the signing of Konrad Laimer, while Leon Goretzka wants to stay, there is little prospect of improvement so far. So he could still put his early departure into action. In this case he would up to 50 million euroso account for the remaining 90 million euros. At Pavard should ideally be about the 35 to 40 million euros become.
