EXCELLENT! The Indonesian National Team defender is selling well in the Premier League, becoming a battle for many clubs

The mainstay defender of the Indonesian national team is being hunted by clubs in the Premier League. He also doesn’t need to bother looking for a new club in the 2023/2024 summer.

Is Elkan Baggott, the mainstay of the Indonesian national team defender who is now being chased by a number of clubs. This was acknowledged by the Ipswich Town manager, Kieran McKenna. He admitted that many clubs were interested in borrowing Elkan Baggott.

Ipswich Town plans to loan Elkan Baggott back for the 2023/2024 season. Manager Kieran McKenna is of the opinion that borrowing a player with a height of almost 2 meters is to add maturity and experience.

According to McKenna, several clubs have expressed interest in borrowing Elkan Baggott. However, the new interest was only verbal and there was no further discussion.

“We have been in contact with various clubs, none of whom are too close. However, hopefully that will be resolved in the next few weeks,” Kieran McKenna was quoted as saying by TWTD.

Manager Kieran McKenna said Ipswich Town would open a number of opportunities for Elkan Baggott’s future. However, until now there has been no club that is really serious about borrowing the 20-year-old player.

“Nothing was agreed upon, communication came through the club, sometimes through their representatives too. So, we will see every case that comes,” said Kieran McKenna.

So far, Elkan Baggott has been loaned to other clubs three times. The defender has been on loan at King’s Lynn Town (2021), Gillingham (2022-2023 and Cheltenham Town (2023).

Elkan Baggott said that manager Kieran McKenna agreed with Ipswich Town’s plan to return him on loan to another club. According to McKenna, the loan period will help Baggott’s career development.
