Equal Scholastic Institute’s Sports Festival: A Fun-filled Day for Genoese Children

The Equal Scholastic Institute “Contubernio D’Albertis” (Tel. 010/503306) organizes directly, in Via Amarena 11, in Genoa – San Fruttuoso, for the ninth year, the Sports Festival aimed at all Genoese children.

The sporting initiative, to be held Wednesday 26 July, from 9 to 17, it will take place in the external spaces (sports field, tree-lined gardens, shaded terraces, squares) and internal spaces (gyms and multifunctional space) of the Contubernio School (Genova-San Fruttuoso, Via Amarena 11, above Piazza Solari). In this ninth edition over 150 children will be able to try, play, run, jump and have fun with ben 12 different sports specialties and more precisely: rugbytots, football, mini-basketball, fencing, mini-volleyball, athletics, rhythmic gymnastics, field hockey, taekwondo, judo, archery, table tennis.

The School thanks all the Sports Associations, Athletes, Instructors, Managers and Volunteers who have joined the initiative with enthusiasm and true sporting passion and who have already confirmed their participation.

Snack for everyone kindly offered by the Contubernio School and by the “Latte Tigullio” company, always close, with quality products, to our initiatives, young people and families.

During the day, the “Contubernio” school, which has been active in Genoa for 160 years (1863, the year it was founded) and which welcomes over 920 children from 12 months to 14 years of age during the school year, will present the educational proposals of the Institute to families and children for all school levels (from nursery school – accredited and affiliated with the Municipality of Genoa – to the Spring Section, from the Infant School to the Primary School up to the Secondary School of 1 ° Grade-Middle School), the activities of the Summer Center aimed at children aged 2 to 14 which will resume from Monday 21 August until the start of school and the 2023/2024 sports activities carried out by the School Sports Center affiliated with UISP, PGS, FITA (preparatory dance, rhythmic gymnastics, hip-hop, mini-basketball, mini-volleyball, taekwondo, biking, rugbytots, athletics, football school).

Appointment for adults and children with the possibility of internal parking in Via Amarena 11 or using public transport with bus n. 84 or 381 (bus stop right in front of the school entrance); pedestrian entrance instead from Via Amarena-Via Biga and also from Via Ferretto and Via Savelli.
