After Twitter launched its new logo on Monday, replacing the blue bird with a white X on a black background, as part of a broader makeover, Elon Musk announced his interest in an account called X.
Through the social network, the tycoon offered the tempting amount of $69,420,420.69 to own the @x account.

“Whoever it is, I’m willing to buy you this account for a whopping amount. Please let me know, thanks,” he wrote on his Twitter.
Although the owner of this account, which currently has almost 27,000 followers, has not responded to Musk’s proposal, he did make it clear that he is active, because in his description before what happened there were some exclamation marks (!!!), but now the legend “Very interesting times” appears.
The businessman is known for his financial jokes that he constantly makes on his social networks, causing users to wonder how serious his statement is.
Last August 2022, the millionaire posted on his Twitter account that he was interested in buying one of the most important soccer teams in Europe: “Also, I’m going to buy Manchester United. You’re welcome,” he wrote.
On that occasion, he later clarified that it was a joke: “no, this is an old Twitter joke. “I’m not going to buy any sports equipment”, maybe this time he is serious and the owner of the X account can become a millionaire.
