Get up. Discovery of sports activities before the holidays. More than 300 students from the 14 classes of the Jules-Vallain elementary school, in Lèves, participated in the end of June, in the “Do sport” operation, initiated by the municipality.
For two days, thanks to the mobilization of local associations, everyone was able to discover and practice, in a fun way, three sports activities chosen upstream: football (Football club of Lèves and district of Eure-et-Loir), judo ( Judo Lévois), rollerblading (Chartres roller), tennis (Tennis club de Lèves), archery (Arc club de la vallée de l’Eure) and twirling (Twirling stick Lèves).
Olivier Pichereau, assistant in charge of relations with associations, who managed the operation in collaboration with Olivier Thomas, director of the school, indicates that “this event is proposed to make young people aware of the importance of the practice of sport, both a source of entertainment, fulfillment and educational success”.
Rémi Martial, the mayor, came to salute this joint achievement between the city, the school and the associative world.
