Derrick Favors in Talks with Shanghai Boy Team as NBA Career Comes to an End

Derrick Favors’ NBA career seems to have come to an end. After living years of splendor in Utah, the center was losing weight in the League to the point that last year he did not play a single game. He was first released by the Houston Rockets in October and subsequently signed a 10-day contract with the Atlanta Hawks, which didn’t do him any good.

With that track record and without anyone being interested in hiring him in free agency, Emiliano Carchia de Sporting He points out that the interior veteran is in talks with the Shanghai boy team with a view to signing for the coming season.

Beginning his career in 2010, Favors has gone through the Nets, Jazz, Pelicans and Thunder. His last season, 2021-22, he played with Oklahoma City to take the field 39 nights and average 5.3 points and 4.7 rebounds in 16.7 minutes per night.
