DeAndre Hopkins Signs with Tennessee Titans in Multi-Million Dollar Deal

Veteran wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has found a new address for the 2023 and 2024 NFL seasons.

According NFL NetworkHopkins will return to the American South Division, as he joins the Tennessee Titans in pocket.

The former Houston Texans and Arizona Cardinals will pocket the total sum of $26 million with the Titans, and depending on his performance, he could receive up to $32 million.

During the first year of the agreement, he will receive $12 million, and performance bonuses could bring him to $15 million.

The 31-year-old Hopkins has been selected to the Pro Bowl three times since joining the NFL in 2013.

This is the first major signing of new Tennessee general manager Ran Carthon.

In 145 games on the Goodell circuit, Hopkins had 11,298 receiving yards and 71 touchdowns.

Twice (in 2015 and 2018), the Clemson University product has surpassed 1,500 passing yards, with seasons of 1,521 and 1,572 yards.

By releasing Hopkins at the end of May, the Cards saved $8.15 million in payroll, but his former team will have to pay off the sum of $22.6 million,

The catcher was under contract until the end of the 2024 season at Arizona.
