“He’s already so easy to like when he doesn’t have a racquet with him. Then when you put a racket in his hand, he starts moving and you hear the crowd. I have never seen a tennis player who gets as much reaction from the crowd during a point as Carlos Alcaraz. Sure, Roger Federer sometimes made outstanding tweeners or stuff, but Alcaraz is so committed. He plays so many amazing points that you don’t see other players playing like him. He is able to defend and hit the ball harder than anyone else. He plays smart, he smiles during matches. I love him, he is so important for our sport. »
