Ludwigsburg (dpa / lsw) – Basketball professional Elijah Childs joins the Bundesliga club MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg. After Desure Buie, Jayvon Graves and Deion Hammond, he is the fourth new signing from Ludwigsburg, as the club announced on Friday. The 24-year-old American previously played in Europe for the Italian club Pallacanestro Trapani and the Bakken Bears in Denmark.
“Elijah Childs is a very versatile defender,” said coach Josh King. “He brings a lot of energy and athleticism into play and can also contribute a lot at the offensive end – his shot from the middle distance is good, he can also radiate danger from the three-point line.”
