Alba Berlin has announced its first signing for the upcoming season. The basketball Bundesliga club committed forward Justin Bean. The 26-year-old American received a three-year contract, Alba announced on Wednesday.
“He brings a little bit of everything to the court. He can throw well, has a strong pull to the basket and fights for every rebound,” said sports director Himar Ojeda. “Justin always plays with a lot of energy and passion and has a high level of game intelligence. He has the potential to become a very good player at a high European level.”
The 2.01 meter tall winger was trained at Utah State University in the NCAA and was last active in the 2023 Summer League for the Boston Celtics. Last season he played for Memphis Hustle in the G-League.
