African Nations Gather at Judo Test Event Ahead of Francophone Games

A judo test event was held on Friday, July 7 at the twin gymnasiums of the Pentecostal martyrs stadium.

Organized under the leadership of the Francophone Games Committee and the National Congolese Judo Federation (Fenacoju) including the International Judo Federation (IFJ), the event brought together three African nations.

Namely, DRC (host country), Congo Brazza and Angola in both male and female versions in the different categories.

Indeed, this muni tournament was organized with the aim of refining the preparation of the athletes and getting into the bath of what will look like these games which the city of Kinshasa will host, in less than 3 weeks.

This judo test allowed the students of Jigoro Kano (founder of judo) to be able to test their level a few days before the start of the Francophonie games.
