He played basketball until his freshman year in high school. He still loves all things basketball, but he says he hasn’t left anything behind as a basketball player.
Kang Hoon said, “One day, I thought, ‘I can’t make a living with this.’ After that, basketball wasn’t fun anymore. After a period of three months by myself, I thought, ‘I’m a basketball player again.’ “Can I fall in love with you?”
He learned horseback riding and swordsmanship while acting. Looking back on when he first learned to ride, he said, “The thing that scared me the most was falling off the horse. I thought it would hurt if I fell, but my body stiffened. But once I actually fell off the horse, and it didn’t hurt at all. From that moment on, my skills improved remarkably. If I hadn’t fallen back then, I think I would have been scared all the time.It seems that people have to experience everything.”
Recently, he appeared on the SBS variety show “Running Man” and said that he wanted to be a good adult for others after seeing Yoo Joo Suk and Haha who made him laugh when he was young.
Kang Hoon said, “I think I’ll be building a filmography in the future, but I hope that someone will see my work and remember it in some way, just like Yoo Jae Suk and Haha were like to me. It’s a vague imagination, but I would be really happy if there was even one person who started acting after seeing me.”
