Francesco Bagnaia won the 2023 Italian GP, stage of the MotoGP World Championship staged on the Mugello circuit. The renamed Pecco dominated the race astride his Ducati and repeated yesterday’s success in the Sprint Race, extending to the lead of the championship where he now boasts a 21-point margin over Marco Bezzecchi. The World Champion then celebrated on the top step of the podium, treating himself to an unforgettable day.
Francesco Bagnaia sang the Mameli anthem and all the audience present followed him. The people of Mugello and MotoGP are once again clamoring, passion has reawakened and Italy is dreaming big with the Piedmontese champion.
